Really handy little multi Tracker app for capturing ideas on the fly with your cell phone! I haven’t used the onboard instruments but I’ve used it to multitrack acoustic guitar and vocal parts. It doesn’t offer a whole lot of editing options but you can cut paste split and move parts around and adjust track volume… but what else do you want from a free phone app??? I was definitely able to comp tracks and mix it down to an mp3 for a decent working rough draft to share with other musicians. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least, it definitely exceeded my expectations for a free app of this type, and the ads were never obnoxious and never interfered with what I was doing. I would definitely recommend this app. It would be cool if I could send a working file to other musicians with the same app for collaboration… haven’t tried that yet so don’t know if it’s even possible.
